The MEBAxtreme 1000-1000 is a robustly built twin-column industrial band saw designed for 90° straight cuts on round bar and tube up to 1000 mm in diameter and on solid sections up to 1000 x 1000 mm. A 14.5 kW frequency-controlled AC motor drives the 11045 x 67 x 1.6 mm saw band at cutting speeds ranging from 15 to 150 m/min. Hydraulic full-stroke material clamping and hydraulic blade tensioning ensure stable, precise cuts, while central machine control keeps setup ergonomic and productive. Weighing 7500 kg and fitted with additional heavy material support rollers, it targets demanding mechanical engineering and foundry applications.
