Description
The PeddiBlast is a quad-turbine, roller-conveyor blast machine built for continuous descaling of structural steel. Its four turbines spin at 3,600 RPM, throwing more than 550 pounds (about 250 kg) of steel shot per minute at over 200 mph to strip rust, mill scale and debris in a single pass. Material advances on an inverter-controlled, infinitely variable-speed roller conveyor that cleans roughly 20 feet (about 6 m) of steel per minute, with beams laid flat in the 'H' position so several profiles can be processed at once. Spent abrasive is reclaimed through a dual separation circuit and topped up automatically from a refill silo, while a ten-station filtration unit and soundproofed roller doors keep the shop clean and quiet. A downstream brush-and-blower stage removes residual shot, leaving beams, plate, angles, channels and tubes ready for primer and intumescent coatings.
