The SF4020 in the SF series uses a high-precision six-axis industrial robot with an autofocus laser head to cut three-dimensional metal parts, curved tubes and automotive hot-formed components. The fiber laser source is configurable from 1000 to 6000 W, and the 4000×2000×850 mm working envelope handles large workpieces. A positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm and repeatability of ±0.03 mm are backed by moving speeds up to 100 m/min and 1.0 G acceleration. The machine cuts carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and metal alloys. It is enclosed in a fully protected housing with safety interlocks and a collision quick-reset device.
