Description
The MEBAxtreme 800-600 A-2300 is a two-column, linear-guided heavy band saw built for high-volume 90° cutting in mechanical engineering, foundries and the automotive sector. Its frequency-controlled AC drive delivers 14.5 kW to a 9000 x 67 x 1.6 mm blade running at 15 to 150 m/min, handling solids and profiles up to 800 mm wide and 600 mm high. Automatic serial-cut operation is fed by a servo-driven material feed with a 2300 mm stroke, while hydraulic full-stroke clamping secures single bars or bundles. A ball-screw infeed provides infinitely variable pressure for both thin-walled profiles and heavy solids, and carbide blade guides keep the cut square and rework-free. At roughly 6500 kg the machine targets demanding, hard-to-machine materials in continuous production.
