The PeddiBot-1100 is Peddinghaus' robotic thermal processing cell for structural steel, built around a latest-generation six-axis Fanuc industrial robot that carries a FineLine 300HD plasma torch rated at 300 amps. The robot performs full contour cutting, coping and bevels up to a 55-degree cutting angle, including the difficult web-to-flange transition, so edges are clean enough to skip secondary grinding for weld preparation. Integrated plasma layout marking scribes weld and part data directly onto the profile and stays legible through rust and mill scale. A servo-driven measuring cart with force feedback tracks each beam on the infeed conveyor to keep positioning accurate and speed up reloading. The cell is operated from a modular desktop-PC console that handles part files, sequencing and machine control through a single interface.
