The PeddiBot-1250 is a heavy-duty robotic fabrication cell built around a 6-axis FANUC arm that automatically switches between plasma, oxy-fuel and ArcWriting torches. Its Hypertherm HPR400XD plasma system cuts steel up to 3 in (80 mm) thick, while the oxy-fuel torch handles material up to 6 in (150 mm) and bevels up to 45 degrees. Profiles up to roughly 1250 mm wide and 610 mm tall — beams, channels, angles and tubes imported as DSTV files — are mapped by a patented 3D vision system with four cameras and four lasers before each cut, and DXF import lets nested plate run on the same machine. A 21-inch touchscreen control, a telescoping outfeed conveyor, a remnant-removal system and a scrap conveyor keep the cell running with minimal downtime. Peddinghaus guarantees positional accuracy of 1/16 in over a 60-foot profile.
