The HSFDB-B is a CNC plate processor built for heavy plate part production, handling material up to 3 in (76 mm) thick. Drilling and milling are driven by 48 HP Siemens spindle motors reaching up to 2250 RPM, while an 8-station tool changer paired with a Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) system cuts idle time and extends tool life. The machine adds thermal cutting in both plasma and oxy-fuel forms plus SignoScript carbide scribing so part information survives blasting, galvanizing and painting. A roller-feed measurement system and side-unloading conveyor keep material flowing continuously to downstream fabrication. The Peddinghaus control and SDS nesting software enable common-line and edge-start cutting to minimize scrap and consumable wear.
Peddinghaus HSFDB-B plate processor is a strong fit for teams evaluating Peddinghaus machines and looking for a practical choice with clear technical positioning and straightforward production integration.
